The item arrived much earlier than expected.
It came in three boxes with all items marked to match assembly instructions.
It was easy to assemble in about an hour for my wife and I.
I bought the medium size and it fits my 2015 Mustang very well. The carport is very sturdy, remain very well under hailstorm.
I really love it and will recommend the carport to my friend. If you want get your car protected, this would be a good choice.
First I would like to say that customer service is great, thank you Laurent. I had a couple of questions about the instructios and received a reply within a couple of hours by email. The instructions are not the best but the assembly is very basic. You slide one pole into another and they have pins on one end that snaps into holes on the adjoining pole.
I am 100% pleased with the canopy. I have the medium size and keep my C5 corvette in the canopy. I have had the conopy up for a couple of months. We have experienced thunderstorm were it rained .600” with 30+ mph winds in about 15 min. The vette remained 100% dry. The next door neighbors’ land scappers have used their gas blower up and down the side carport next to the canopy and the dust stayed out of the tent. There are two vent with screens and flaps to close. I can’t believe how clean the car remains even after being stored for 3 weeks.
The installation can be done in time mentioned in previous reviews, except for drilling into concrete for the anchors.
The fit of my Corvette is a little tight due to the mirrors and the wide stance of the car itself. There is a couple of feet leftover in the lenght and just enough room to exit the car. I did not have the spece for the large size canopy. I know there is a lot of interest in this type of cover and yes I used “I” alot just trying to pass on some info to others. Belevie me it is worth the bucks.Joe

his canopy is perfect, sturdy, excellent quality. Set up very simple, The color perfect match for our house and fit my car. It helps keep my car protected from the weather and dry when it rains. We don’t have a garage so its very useful. We are so happy to have it as a Christmas gift.
It withstood 60 -70 mph wind gust here in the midwest and still srands sturdy. We will see what winter will brings us but I don’t foresee any problems.
It does the job well as a car cover and is a good size to be able to get out of the car once in the garage.

This tent is nice and sturdy. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to figure out how to set it up. But it was very easy. Set up in 40 minutes with only 2 people. Used for serving my mustang. I really love it!
After reading many reviews about this enclosure, I decided to order a medium version for my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire……I’m glad that I did! When the boxes arrived I noticed (after opening them) that one of there boxes contained parts for the larger size enclosure so I wasn’t able to assemble the enclosure. I contacted Laurent and they immediately sent out the correct parts. It was not Ikuby’s fault but the person picking the parts off the shelf in their US warehouse. Once the correct parts arrived I assembled the enclosure by myself in about 2-1/2 hours. If I had someone to help me it probably would have taken 1/2 the time. The directions are fairly simple to understand but I recommend laying everything out ahead of time to ensure that you are using the correct parts as you assemble to avoid having to take anything apart. Each part has a sticker on the plastic sleeve indicating where it belongs in the assembly process.
I had a unique situation as my driveway is 3/4″ stone, so when it came to mounting it to the ground I had to buy anchors (from amazon) that screw into the ground that leave a 3/8″ thread sticking up above the stone so I could put stainless nuts and washers to secure the enclosure. It worked just fine. I have already had 3 severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours and the car remains perfectly dry each time. My only complaint is that water accumulates a little in the center of the enclosure on each side, so after a rain storm I have to reach up and pull down on the fabric to remove the water. Even with the small puddle up on top, no water penetrates the fabric. You will see this in some of the pictures I have attached.
My car is rather wide, so I have to favor the right side of the enclosure when pulling in so I can get out of the car. I added foam pipe insulation to all of the metal uprights on the driver’s side of the enclosure so when I open my door, it protects the door from hitting the metal. This works perfectly and only cost me $3.00 to do this. The side vents are nice to keep the heat from getting too hot inside the enclosure, and it keeps all insects out. They roll up and can be tied, or they can be closed by use of the velcro stitched on to the sides of the vents. Very easy. Overall I love being able to drive into this enclosure, get out, reach up and fold down the end and secure it to the plate provided. You can put a lock on the plate to lock the enclosure, but I just insert a good sized nail to keep it closed during any wind. I also hung a wiffle golf ball from the center of the middle upright inside the enclosure so when I pull in and it hits my windshield, I know to stop.
Pros: Watertight, Good Looking, easy to operate, easy to get your car in and out within one minute
Cons: Small puddle can form after it rains in center of middle section of fabric (only on the sides not the entire middle section), Expensive…..but you get what you pay for!
Would I buy it again, absolutely.
Lastly, I must say that I have rarely seen the AWESOME level of customer service that I have seen from Ikuby, especially Laurent. Right there within 24 hours or less (communicating with China so you have the time difference to deal with) to answer any concerns and then always a follow up to make sure you are satisfied. You just don’t see that level of support in most cases. If your really thinking of one of these enclosures to put your special car in, don’t hesitate to go ahead any buy one.

I had a Car Capsule before, which cost a few hundred dollars more. It protected my car, but was a hassle to unzip, deflate, zip up when you were through with the car, and reinflate it. Ikuby protects the car very well, and is easy to use. You simply lift one end and drive the car out. It took me about an hour to assemble it, and less than a week later we had tornados in the Bay Area. We didn’t get hit by a tornado, but did have about 45 minutes of sustained 70 mph winds. The Ikuby did its job, withstanding the winds and keeping the car dry. It’s a great product!
We received the product promptly. It comes in several boxes. My 16 year old took it all out of the boxes and assembled it. The car fit perfectly. It is sturdy and good quality.
Assembled the product and it didn’t close due to the cover being tailored a bit short. Laurent reached out and sent a replacement. He was great to work with, happy with the customer service they provided to fix this issue.
I had measured my car to make sure it would fit in the medium car shelter, a 2014 Hyundai Veloster. After measuring, I still was unsure. I also wasn’t sure if the car shelter would fit in the slightly tight space I have next to my house. I emailed the seller with the measurements of my space and told them which car I had. Within a day the seller responded and confirmed the car port would work for me.
My Ikuby car shelter came about 2 weeks earlier that the estimated time so the seller obviously processed my purchase fast and sent it right out.
Set up was relatively simple and the car shelter feels high quality and very stable. I had some additional inquiries about some parts I wanted to further customize the car shelter for my space. The seller responded quickly and was very generous!
The shelter is a good product and very unique. There are a few things that could be better, one is the instructions. If there was a little effort and thought put into the instructions…..that would be great!!! A detail that is left off the instructions is the size of the lag bolt that secures the shelter to the concrete. I posted the question and the customer service replied with 14mm, ok great, now on to find a 14mm hammer drill bit. No luck at all here in the states so I just bought 1/2 inch lag bolts and a 1/2 drill bit. One selling point for this shelter is the claim that its waterproof…it is not!!! I had a rainstorm that came through last night and I made a point to check if my car got wet, it absolutely did as you can see from the picture. Very disappointed about this since that was the main reason for the purchase. They really need to take that claim out of the product description.
Update: I was contacted by customer service and they addressed all my issues. They are sending me a new canopy, in future US orders are including standard size cement anchors and working on a better instruction video. I have to say this the best customer service that I have ever dealt with…EVER!!! I just want to buy something from them, just to buy…they are that good. Thank you!
I’ve been looking for for a carport/shelter for few weeks and Ikuby is the only one that fits my criteria. I bought the medium size and fits my car perfect. Installation was super simple. I did replace the sleeve anchors with wedge anchors. Fabric cover looks to be heavy duty and was quite surprised to see the car dry after the rain. I live in a windy area and the carport has stood up well. The vents with screens on both sides really help circulate the inside air on hot days. Edwards sent me email confirmation right after I placed my order to make sure my car will fit in medium size. He kept in touch every steps to delivery date. I’m extremely happy with the purchase. I was using outdoor car cover after washing the car but do not put the cover back on after I’ve driven the car. Now I drive the car more often as I don’t have to worry about car cover scratching dusty car.
Very happy with this product. Keeps car dry and clean. For me it does not close all the way to floor, but mine is on a sloped driveway. For the ocassional rain, the car will be fine. 3 days of rain i put a picinic blanket on hood and trunk. Might leak a few drops. Normally i wouldn’t care but matte paint you must be careful. Easy to set up with 2 people. Mine has been through a storm with no problem. I don’t see a problem with snow. Time will tell. Had it almost a year.
This carport should do the job its intended to. I used my son and his friends to assist me in putting it together. The instructions are vague at best. I contacted the manufacturer and ask if there was a install video. They informed me there was not. They definitely need to redo their instructions to be more complete in my opinion. They communicated well, but the instructions definitely lack. I would not attempt this by yourself. Though, once we got rolling, it went fairly quickly. All in all it took maybe 2.5 to 3 hours. The supplied anchors are cement anchors and weren’t good for my application on a Asphalt driveway. I ended up buying anchors that were better suited. I’m happy with the end result, now I hope it will make it through a New England winter. I’ll amend this review in the spring and through the winter to see how it holds up. Good luck with your install if you decide to buy it. Remember, 2 or more people to assist you would be smart in my opinion.

liked the availability to have access from either end , as i used for car storage where i can open back and let exhaust out and still be covered. Also the domed shape allows to have rain or snow roll off instead of just sitting on top causing weight and pressure on frame and rails. The vented sides is a nice touch for extra air flow when under the cover during inclement weather. the cover having to be installed with channels in cloth vice velcro closures keeps everything snug and in place.
Perfect carport for what I needed. I wanted full coverage but with the flexibility of not being in my way when I work on the car. Also the lift and go approach was the convenient solution I really wanted. I drive my Z any chance I get and didn’t want the hassle of zippers and roll up doors. This is the Medium cover and there’s plenty of room to spare.
The packages came earlier than the expected date but one of the boxes (comes in 3 packages) was received damaged and one of the poles were bent. This is where the seller really shined. I contacted the seller and within hours he was fixing the problem, shipping out an expedited package the same day. I had a replacement pole in a few days! The customer service was nothing short of excellent. He also kept in contact almost daily.
After assembly, which my wife and I accomplished in an hour and a half using a power ratchet and a 10mm wrench. Instructions were fine, we really didn’t have any trouble at all. Just go through the boxes and bundle up all the pipes for easy grabbing. Study the pipes and grasp the instructions before you tare into it. It’s really easy. The tarp was a little more tricky and we had to remove and reassemble the last pipe to get it on which wasn’t in the instructions, but wasn’t a big deal.
Now for the sturdiness, the pipes aren’t cheap Harbor-F quality, but they also aren’t the strongest I’ve seen. The tarp is Thick and weighs about 50lbs. Waterproof multiple ply canvis material on the outside and smooth thick vinyl inside with window flaps on each side. I did have some condensation inside the day after a storm but the whole car was bone dry. I believe this is because a portion of the carport reaches over some soil. Speaking of that storm, we received 40-60mph winds and the carport had no issue. A week later we had another hurricane tail pass over us and the poles and tarp are still 100%. Tomorrow we’re getting 8-12″ of snow, so that will be the real test. I plan to keep the snow from accumulating every few hours, but I’m confident this carport will hold strong with a little bit of my help.
Great car port. Comes in three packages- right side, left side, and the cover for ease of assembly. Very easy to assemble with a second person. I chose to use Tapcon screws to affix to an asphalt driveway. Much easier than the included bolts.
It’s held up real well so far to heavy winds, rain and snow in the first two weeks. I look forward to many years of use.

I am so glad I purchased this! I just had my Miata repainted and want it protected from the high winds, rain and cats and it succeeds for the most part. It does leak along the top seam that runs the length of the unit so I’m going to have to get a sealant for that. It has held up in our high winds, despite gusts of 75 mph and as long as I keep swales up against the bottom edge, it keeps the cats out.
It is easy to open and close, even from the inside (I found that out when I released it too soon and it closed up with me inside) and the side windows provide good ventilation.
I had a serious problem with my homeowners association because they do not allow carports of any kind, I the contacted the seller about this problem and they refunded all my money except for return shipping. It was definitely not the sellers fault for what happened but yet they accepted the return. If they’re that good with their customer service attitude I can’t help but think that their product is equally as good. I highly recommend them. You can’t go wrong. I made a mistake by not clearing it with the homeowners association, that’s on me, but the seller’s customer service is amazing.
